From one of the most beautiful places on Earth—Honolulu, Hawaii, where nature reflects extraordinary beauty, purity, and the power of creation—philanthropist Morad Shaker has spent decades surrounded by an environment many people around the world only dream of experiencing, even for a few days.

Yet, despite living in such a place, his focus has remained elsewhere.

For years, his thoughts and efforts have been directed toward the people of Bangladesh—communities in distant regions who continue to live with limited access to opportunities, basic support systems, and, in many cases, even clean environmental conditions.

This contrast became a driving force behind a deeply personal mission.

Originally born in Iran and having spent more than three decades of his life in Hawaii, Morad Shaker has dedicated himself to building a meaningful response to this reality—one that would go beyond temporary support and create a structured path for long-term impact.

That mission is now public.

As of April 4, 2026, Operation Bangladesh—a project developed over years of strategic planning, personal commitment, and continuous effort—is officially live.

The platform can now be accessed at: https://www.operationbangladesh.org

A Private Vision, Now Realized

For years, Operation Bangladesh remained a confidential and privately developed initiative, shaped by Morad Shaker through an extraordinary level of dedication.

He invested his time, resources, energy, and focus—often working continuously, with near 24/7 commitment—to design a system capable of reaching individuals who are often left behind.

This was not a short-term effort. It was a long-term vision, built step by step, with discipline and patience.

Today, that vision has transitioned from private development to public reality.

Understanding Bangladesh Through Direct Experience

Morad Shaker’s journey into Bangladesh began through the Shaker International Scholarship Programs (SISP), a nonprofit organization he founded in the United States and registered in the state of Wyoming under applicable federal law.

Through SISP, he introduced educational support and work-study opportunities for students, allowing him to engage directly with individuals across different communities.

This experience gave him a deeper understanding of the culture, daily life, economic realities, and the resilience and aspirations of Bangladeshi communities.

A Mission for the “Forgotten Children of God”

At its core, Operation Bangladesh is driven by a powerful belief.

Morad Shaker has often described the people he seeks to serve as the “forgotten children of God”—individuals who, despite their potential, have not received the level of attention, support, or opportunity available in other parts of the world.

The initiative supports students, underprivileged families, single mothers, orphaned children, individuals with disabilities, elderly populations, and underserved rural communities.

Resilience Through Challenges

The development of Operation Bangladesh was not without challenges.

Throughout its journey, the initiative faced multiple obstacles and evolving circumstances that required continuous adaptation and perseverance.

However, these experiences did not deter the mission. Instead, they strengthened the foundation of the initiative.
